We've been asked to share with you some of the things in our lives for which we are thankful. It's tough to narrow it down to just one thing, but I'd have to say I am most thankful for my amazing family. This year has been particularly tough, as both my dad and grandmother passed away within a few months of each other. And as hard as this year has been on my family and me, it has also made me appreciate them more and realize just how precious our time together is. Tomorrow isn't promised to any of us, so it's important that we make the most of each and every moment. Here's a shot of the fam and me, minus my hubby who is behind the camera. :)


We have definitely had to depend on one another in many ways in this last year and, as a result, have grown much closer. And, although they still drive me a wee bit crazy from time to time, I truly don't know what I'd do without them.

Manic Monday and a SMG Call at ScrapMatters

In other ScrapMatters news, there's a CT call going on right now for the ScrapMatters Girls. What are the ScrapMatters Girls, you might ask. ;) Well, they are the people in charge of leaving lots of love in the gallery and welcoming new members to the site. As a former SMG, I can tell you that it is a super-fun gig (You get free stuff as a member!) and that all the current SMGs are awesome. They are such a fun and energetic group, and I miss 'em tons!

Another Gorgeous Kit and Some Brand New Templates!

So, as promised, I'm back to show you some of the goodness that was just released today from Sweet Shoppe Designs. Allie of Lliella Designs has decided to hold off on releasing her new kit until next month, but trust me. It's worth the wait!

Never fear though because the amazing Eva Kipler has teamed up with Susan of ScrapKitchen Designs to bring you this gorgeous new kit called Savannah Flea Market. Isn't it delicious? Check out those colors!



Now, it's no secret to those familiar with my scrapping style that I am a HUGE fan of patterned paper, and this kit more than delivers in that area! The only problem I had was choosing which of the fabulous papers I wanted to use on my page.

New Release Friday and Some Big News!!!

Good morning, my fellow scrappers! It's Friday, and we all know what that means: new releases at ScrapMatters. Yeah!! So, without further delay, here's a look at some of the gorgeousness I was fortunate enough to play with this week. First up is this fabulous back-to-school kit by WM [squared] Designs. It's called School Days, and it's totally amazing. I just adore the color pallette.
